Making Choices Some people believe that God wants us to live life to the fullest! They choose to expand. They learn to deal with their new choices. They refuse to accept an obstacle as a sign that the choice was wrong. They look to God for help and direction on their new path. Got Connections? There are a lot of people living in self-pity, going around with the, "poor me" attitude. Their talk is always about defeat. Perhaps they have forgotten that we have the best "connection" there is! Who's In The Driver's Seat? None of us can escape all the negatives we see and hear every day. But we can choose how we will respond. I don't want my life to be like a little boy in my parent's car, just going along for the ride. I want to be in the driver's seat! How Much Money Do You Make? The picture you carry of yourself is what you will see happen in your life. That is the reason some people never move any higher than 10 or 12 dollars an hour. They would love to get an increase, but inside, they see themselves as a 12 dollar an hour earner. Where do you see yourself? Who Threw the Stone? God has promised and He has provided. But He is not going to overstep our free will. That means He is willing to do His part but we must also be willing to do our part. Are You Out of Touch with Reality? Your current reality is the reality that you have accepted. Your self-esteem and self worth are dependent upon who you think you are at this moment. It may seem to be your reality at this moment, but is it really a false reality? Is He Wiling? Believing and accepting God's unconditional love for you, and believing that you are already righteous in His eyes will have a dynamic impact on your acceptance that He is not only able to do for you what He has promised, but that He is also willing to do it for you personally. You Are Not What You Do! If you base your self worth on what do, what happens to your self worth when you no longer do what you are doing? For example, if you base your self worth on having a really good job, what happens if you loose that job? If more Christians would accept who the Bible says that they are, their self worth would skyrocket! And it would dynamically affect every area of their lives! I Struck Out Again! If you are going to be successful in life, then you cannot blame other people, circumstances, or even the tools that you use. Instead, take responsibility for your life by developing the skills that you need. How To Get What You Desire What you focus your mind on is what you will bring into your life. It is a tried and true principle of life that works just like the law of gravity. Some refer to this as a mindset, or core beliefs, or issues of the heart. Whatever you call it, just remember that you have the free will to think any way if you choose to. Fire That Commentator! A commentator is one who discusses news or events. He or she will interpret and analyze events. A commentator does more than just report the facts. The dictionary definition of a commentator is, "an expert who observes and comments on something." There is a commentator you know very well that needs to be fired immediately! How Tall Are You? Have you noticed that the world lacks people who constantly encourage others? The sad reality is that people are quick to point out all your shortcomings but slow to give you praise for your accomplishments. Don't let anyone talk you out of your dreams, goals and desires. Don't talk yourself out of them either. Live life with excitement and push toward your full potential, just like NBA star Earl Boykins does. How Much Money Is Out There? We live on a planet filled with an abundance of resources as well as many things not yet discovered. There is enough money floating around all over the world that some people can spend seventy million dollars on a house! In pursuing your dreams and your goals, keep in mind that there is plenty to go around and plenty for all you need! Quit Complaining! Regardless of any limitations that you may have, the Creator never designed you to be a failure. With His help, nothing can stop you from living your dreams and having the desires of your heart. Take Charge! The reason so many people go around in circles in life, is because their thoughts are going around in circles in their minds. Their minds are engaged in wandering, daydreaming and fanaticizing; they never stay focused long enough to allow what they truly desire to come into their lives. Take charge of your life by taking charge of your thinking. The Story Of My Life What comes out of our mouth is indeed an indication of what's inside our hearts. Many times, what we say is an indication of our core beliefs. Take note of what is coming out of your mouth. If it's not positive, then change your thinking and what comes out of your mouth will follow suit. Then the results in your life will then be what you desire them to be. Are You Too Old Now? Birthday celebrations are interesting aren't they? When you're a child, you look forward to them and they are so much fun. But the older we get, the less we look forward to celebrating another birthday. Why is that? Guess What Happened Today? Each morning when you wake up there are endless possibilities. This could be the greatest day of your life so far! Well, why not? Would you regret it or object if it was? What You See Is What You Get Why do we think that it is just fine and normal to beat ourselves up for our failures and shortcomings, but somehow think that it is egotistical to recognize and acknowledge our successes? I think we've got it all backwards! The Ham Rut Many times, we do things because that's the way we have always done them. We think the way we do now, because that's the way we have always thought. But why? Where Are You Today? Where Will You Be Tomorrow? I heard a statement over thirty years ago that really shocked me, confronted me, and helped me to start thinking logically about my life. Your belief system is what you believe. It is what you accept as right or true. And, most importantly, it is what you will attract into your life. How Many Fire Hydrants Do You See? Here's a simple and fun exercise that you can do that will show you in a very simple way how your mind works. Try it for three days. I think you will be astonished. Stop Saying That! We are the ones who decide which thoughts we will entertain. Furthermore, we are all too quick to verbalize those thoughts. Consistent thoughts of victory will produce victory in our lives. Consistent thoughts of failure will produce failure in our lives. Simple Keys To Being A Winner! Not everyone achieves their goals. Some do and some do not. Some will win and some will lose; some will fail while others succeed. Why is that? How Do You Define Prosperity? When it comes to your prosperity, you are the only one who can define it. You decide what you want in your life. Don’t pay attention to those who judge you. It is none of their business! One Word Can Change Everything! For many years, successful people have been writing down their goals and affirmations. They then discipline themselves to read those goals or affirmations every day. But what does the word, “because,” have to do with it? Have You Failed? Far too many people look at a set back or a disappointment as a failure and then they just quit. They abandon their dreams, they discard their goals, or they put their plans in a drawer and just quit! You don’t have to! Are you Hanging in There? When you ask someone, “How are you doing?” they often answer back, “Oh, I’m hanging in there.” There are times when we are dealing with challenges. But why would we want to admit that the best that we can do right now is just to “hang in there?” Didn’t God promise a lot more? The Rat Race It was never the intention of the Creator for the human race to be a rat race. It was never His intention for people to live with fear and anxiety, or to have no peace. It was not His design for people to spend their days worrying about the daily necessities of life, completely absorbed in trying to earn a living. Do You Hate Your Job? A great number of people hate their job and dream of having millions of dollars and not doing any work at all. They can see themselves spending their days just relaxing, finally done with that nasty four letter word, “work.” Why Doesn’t Everyone Succeed? There are people who rationalize that some are made to succeed while others are made to fail. Even if this ludicrous proposition were true, it totally contradicts all the rest of creation. You are designed to be a success machine! What’s Your Destination? Just as wishing and hoping to be in New York while you are in L.A. doesn’t get you there, so too wishing and hoping for your goals and dreams to come to pass does not bring them into your life. In this article, you’ll find out if the direction that you are headed is really taking you to your destination. Lazy People Blame and Complain! You can be successful. You can reach your goals and dreams. You can have the desires of your heart. Instead of complaining and blaming, turn your focus and energy to pursuing those goals and dream and desires. Get up and take some action. Are You a Statue or a Pigeon? No matter what situation or circumstance you are in today, you don’t have to accept the way things are in your life. Since the dominant thoughts that you carry will build your own personal belief system, the things that you attract into your life really are based on your own personal belief system. Working Hard Does Not Produce Success Working hard does not produce success. There are plenty of people who have worked hard their whole lives who are now struggling to support themselves. Why? Is there something vitally important that is being overlooked or dismissed? Shut Up! Most people do not realize just how powerful their own words are. The truth is your words can change your life. I’m talking specifically about the words you think and speak to yourself about yourself. Sometimes you just have to say, “Shut up!” How to Get the Results You Want! The choices you have made and the actions you have taken have produced the results that you see in your life right now. A lot of people might totally disagree with that statement, but I believe it is very true. Your results are directly produced by the decisions that you have made. Stop Complaining About It! People many times fail to recognize just how detrimental complaining really is. The choice of what to think about is always yours. This choice determines what you will receive. Why Not Dream Big Dreams? Children have lots of big dreams. But it seems that the older we get, the more get talked out of our dreams. Your dreams and your vision are very important because they are yours! Don’t limit yourself to what others think is possible. How Successful People Think Successful people think successful thoughts. They know that entertaining thoughts of failure and defeat is a waste of time. Successful people think of future possibilities, not of past set backs. Your Attitude Is Your Choice The attitude that you have right now, at this very moment, is the one you have chosen to carry around. It is determined by how you think. It is your choice!
