Over Upgrading Your House
Now, you have have found the residence you see fit to get old in. The location is great, the neighbors are awesome, and the cost was perfect. Now like most home home owners in this situation you begin doing minor improvements or upgrades to your residence. A little paint on the walls, wallpaper there, new marble in this part of the house, silestone in that room, a fixture here a fixture there. At last you are satisfied with your newly upgraded residence.
Over Upgrading Your Residence
So you and your family have seen the residence you want to become old in. The view is good, the people are great, and the price tag was perfect. Now as with many home owners in this situation you start doing minor renovations to your residence. A little paint on the walls, maybe some wallpaper, new carpet in this room, corian in that room, a ceiling fan here a fixture there. Finally you are pleased with your newly improved residence.
Working With "Repair Needed Homes"
When working with the seller on items listed as "in need of repair" from a professional home inspection, buyers and agents need to tread very carefully. It is in no ones best interest that the repair negotiations turn into a difficult issue during the transaction.
Building Homes that Fit the Lot
recently, many properties that were not done to really benefit its environment have come to my attention. The resale value is hurt by this. These said properties are most likely in tract subdivisions. One very conspicuous example is a residence standing neighboring the greenbelt space on a dead-end lot. To the left of the property, and straight out the cul-de-sac as you go into the street is natural ranchland dotted with stunning mature oak trees, native vegetation, and a wet weather creek. This is dedicated space that will never be urbanized. It's wholesome Texas Hill Country scenery of the kind one sees in photos and that you envision admiring from a back porch rocking chair or swing. It sure beats the heck out of looking at a neighbor's house. The person who made the house sure did blow it.
