The Undertaker, Mark Callaway, begins his wrestling journey in the year 1985. He trains and wrestling in the Dallas Sports Auditorium in Dallas, Texas. His trainer is Yunge Van Erich, who is also a World Class Championship Wrestler.
(The Undertaker) Mark’s career starts off with the wrestling in the USA Wrestling Association (USWA). The undertaker won the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship and USWA Texas Heavyweight Championship and during those years, Mark used several ring names: The DeadEnd, The Brutal Enforcer, The Captain, and Texas RedHot.
The Undertaker begins his short promotional debut in 1987 until 1992, first in the Nation Wrestling Alliance (NWA) by Jim Bruzal Promotions. Finally during 1995 the WCW turns into WWE.
During New World Alliance ERA, the Undertaker was first known as "Big Giant" Mark Callaway and wrestled as a member of the Sky Demons tag team along with "Dangerous" Dan Spikey and later as a solo wrestler. Mark’s most famous fight in WCW was against Luther for the NWA United States Wrestling Championship Title at the 1991 Great American Dash, which the Undertaker lost after Luther pinned him after a devastating clothesline combo. At the end of 1990s, WCW refused to renew Calaway's contract, and the Undertaker signed with Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Federation now know as the WWE. |
