It is another example of why truth cannot be democratized. Truth is not about what the majority of people think something is. Truth is what IS. If most people thought that jet fuel can cause 110 story steel buildings to vaporize in 10 seconds it would still not negate the laws of Physics which say that it is not possible So Wikipedia launches with a flawed fundamental premise and frequently veers to the South (as regards logic) from there as they do in their discussion of Hydrogen gas for automobile engine fuel. So, what is wrong with what Wikipedia says? Because there are 1000s of automobiles driving around right now that are using Hydrogen as a source of car fuel or using it in combination with gasoline to maximize their fuel economy by as much as twentyfive to fifty percent or more!
An obvious solution that would help considerably towards remedying any oil shortage would be for the automotive manufacturers and oil companies to repeal their illegal hacking of computers in vehicles manufactured since 1995 so as to enable better MPG!
Vehicles are equipped for more than 15 years with computers. These computers are factually pre-hacked against getting the MPG that the vehicles would otherwise be capable of! If the auto manufacturing and petroleum companies desired people to get a bigger bang for their buck at the filling station they could reset their computers!! This is a majorly illegal action which violates agreements that these industries have with the EPA and other government agencies with regards to ethical business practices.

And this is one that Big Oil REALLY doesn't want you to know about. The know how to operate automobiles with water-based engines has existed for over ninety years!
