By: David Urmann

Most of us are exceptionally particular about the food we eat. It is normal to become especially concerned about stuff that may be excellent for your children. Making certain that your bathroom, bedroom; particularly your kitchen is clean and free from clutter, is a good habit to maintain.
Although it’s quite hard to admit; but inside your kitchen, the refrigerator is usually the one taken for granted. It frequently takes a while before you decide that it needs to be cleaned. Through that time, your refrigerator is already bare to the germs and other germs from particular foods.
Hence, it is greatly sensible that you clean your refrigerator regularly. The most excellent time would be as soon as it is nearly empty, and you are already ready to do your grocery shopping. There are exceptionally easy and uncomplicated steps you may take to do this.
You would have to primarily open your refrigerator and twist the temperature switch. You may then unplug your refrigerator. Empty your refrigerator by taking out all of its contents, particularly the food items. Verify for molds or spoilt foods and throw it all out.
Once you get everything out, take out the drip pan positioned at the lower area of your refrigerator. This is only if your refrigerator contains one. Toss out the collected water there and clean it using a mild dish soap and dishcloth.
Subsequent to this, disassemble all the detachable parts of your refrigerator and clean it using the same dishcloth and mild dish soap. Rinse these parts with lukewarm water. Allow these parts to dry by putting them on a dish rack; or on an unsoiled and dry surface.
Once you have cleaned the detached parts of your refrigerator, begin cleaning its inner area. It is most excellent that you use a basin full of water and mild dish soap. Make certain that you thoroughly clean the inner portion of your refrigerator. Remove any food markings or spilled beverages. When you are finished cleaning the inner portion, you can then focus on its outer area.
You will observe that even if you have already cleaned your refrigerator by means of mild dish soap, there is still a discrete smell inside. This is especially simple to resolve. Use a small basin and dispense in the basin 1qrt of warm water; along with 2 tablespoons of baking soda. An alternative solution would be 1 cup of vinegar in about 1 gallon of warm water.
Dip a sponge in the solution and wash every inside portion of your refrigerator. This will get rid of the remaining smell. Make certain you rinse your refrigerator with lukewarm water after cleaning it either with the mild dish soap, the baking soda or the vinegar solution.
You can also leave a boxful of baking soda on one area of your refrigerator. This will leave it free from unwanted smell. After that go to the rear side of your refrigerator and have the condenser coil vacuumed. After this, let the refrigerator to get dry.
Once it is already dry, carefully return all the parts you have removed. Switch on the temperature switch and return all the food items, bottles and jars you removed. Make certain that you have already cleaned the bottles and jars prior to putting them back inside your refrigerator.
These are just basic and simple steps you may work with. Hence, cleaning your refrigerator frequently will also guarantee your family’s health and security.
