The amazing world of vibrators.

There are many women in this world that have difficulty achieving orgasm, some have never done so. On top of that, between different women different types of stimulation are needed to achieve orgasm. That's why we have vibrators. Vibrators have become much more widely accepted in society and their use has significantly increased. However, don't think that vibrators are only for solo play, they are great for use with your partner for that added spice.

There are a practically uncountable amount of different vibrators out there to choose from. Vibrators can be enjoyed by both men and women, however, due to the nature of these sex toys, women are able to get more enjoyment from them and thus most of them are aimed at women.

Various types of Vibrators:

Clitoral Vibrating Egg

One of the most commonly used vibrators, this little guy is typically shaped like a small egg, however you can find many different shapes, such as a small duck or a tongue. No matter your preference, it will probably be hand-held, and will come with a remote that you can use to adjust its speed and intensity.

This type of vibrator is so common not only because of its ability to bring a woman to orgasm but also due to its low price and small size.

Electric Vibrators

These are of the power that batteries wouldn't be enough, they have to be plugged in. In fact they are , in many ways, more like back massagers than sex toys. These are not for the timid.

You can even get various attachments, ranging from round and smooth to rugged and funky.

Insertable Clitoral Vibrator

This style of vibrator not only stimulates the clitoris but it also is made to be used as a dildo. They typically come in the shape of a phallus with a clitoral stimulator jutting out from the base, often with a small critter such as a bear, butterfly or dragonfly perched on the end. There are more expensive versions that come with rotating beads around the middle of the shaft that are meant for G-Spot stimulation.

These impressive vibrators are incredibly popular and can provide very powerful orgasms. Although they are a bit expensive, they can run upwards of $100, according to many women this is often a very acceptable price to pay for the benefits of this type of masturbator. But remember, they can be intense, there are women that don't enjoy this much direct stimulation, so before you run out and buy one make sure you enjoy this much 'action'.

Traditional Vibrators

This ol’ standard in vibrators is probably the most easily recognized of the different sex toys. These vibrators all somewhat resemble a penis and are typically meant to be used as such, however this is pretty much where the similarities stop. These guys come in all shapes and sizes, from the small all the way up to the the size that would make a porn star jealous. From smooth and straight to bubbly and bent and everywhere in between. They tend to be made of Cyberskin™, jelly, plastic, silicone, or rubber, all of which have their benefits and drawbacks. Here are the most common types of traditional vibrators that are out there:

Smooth – These are sometimes referred to as Slimline Vibrators and tend to be made of plastic and have a smooth surface (no bumps or ridges). They are just as easily used for solely clitoral stimulation as they are used for penetration, although penetration can feel nice, their smooth surface prevents them from being a good thrusting toy.

You can also buy sleeves that are made for smooth vibrators. They can be made out of anything standard vibrators can be made from and can come in just as many shapes and sizes, allowing you to create a variety of vibrators at your disposal.

Realistic Vibrators – As you probably have guessed, this type of vibrator resembles a real penis and is used in the same manner. So, this is for those who are looking for something like to real intercourse, but with an added punch.

Contoured Vibrators – This type of vibrator, normally made from plastic, was designed for a comfortable fit through a slightly hourglass shape.

There is a traditional style vibrator out there to fit practically all preferences. If you’ve never enjoyed a traditional vibrator before you might want to try a little experimentation before you actually go out and make a purchase. One way to do this is by using vegetables, very well washed of course, this might seem odd to some but it will definitely give you a good idea what to look for in your vibrator and thus save you time and money by not having to buy a bunch of different toys that you you'll never use. A good rule to go by, especially if you’re able to do the shopping in person, is that if the vibrator doesn’t make you feel something deep inside, you might not want to get it.

Anal Vibrators

Many standard vibrators can be used for anal play, however, for safety, only use those that have a wider base or some sort of barrier, the last thing you would want is to lose anything up there. The normal anal vibrator resembles a very wide skewer that is holding a number of balls.

Other types of anal vibrators include beads and bullets. However many of these types are for external use only.

G-Spot Vibrators

G-Spot vibrators are similar to standard vibrators except they usually have a bent tip, sometimes with a type of bulb at the tip or bumps in just the right location. (Note: This type of vibrator can also be used by men who enjoy pleasing their prostate.)

These toys are typically used in the same manner as a traditional vibrator, however with the “bubbles” in the center or the bulb at the tip you get the extra G-Spot attention that many women find extra pleasurable.
