The Internet Is Now Portable In Ways Previously Not Imagined
By: Steve Collins..

Imagine yourself in a crisis: you are supposed to be meeting a client for dinner to finalize a big deal and you have been delayed because a meeting in a nearby town ran long. When you go to contact your client, you realize you forgot to charge your cell phone. The battery is dead, and the client's contact information is in your dead phone! What do you do? Your contract is suddenly at risk just because you did not remember to plug in your cell phone?!

The savvy mobile phone user will not panic, because the savvy mobile phone user recognizes that all he has to do is take out the SIM card from his phone and install it into someone's else's. All the subscriber information-including phone contacts-is stored on that tiny card! Any phone into which you put your SIM card will act as your own phone, complete with ring tones (and billing information!).

A SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card is part of your phone's integrated circuit card and includes your identity, phone settings, and information specific to your provider network. If you upgrade your phone, you can easily transfer your SIM card from the old phone to the new one. It only takes a instant to remove the back of the phone, pop out the battery, and pluck out the card then open up the new phone and install it. It saves a lot of time adding in phone numbers and messing with settings.

Currently, new technology has made it possible for SIM cards to permit cell phones to be employed as web servers. High speed communications are handled directly within your phone, and the phone connects to the internet. Through this connection, video, pictures, and sound recordings can be published on a website!

The internet is now portable in ways that were previously never imagined! With a mobile phone connected to the internet and operating as a web server, you can truly take your business wherever you go! The possibilities are unlimited.
