Stress Can Damage Your Relationship!

A prolonged period of living under stress changes your emotional responses and makes you tougher to live with. This quickly starts affecting your relationship, and not in a positive way. The stress you feel will cause glitches in your relationship and may even be a reason for breaking up.

The first category of relationship problems caused by stress is related to our sexual functions. Stress hormones effectively negate one's sexual desire and even if stress leaves some of that, stress hormones will affect your body in a way that makes it more difficult for you to perform appropriately. What is even worse, the hormones affect also the hypothalamus gland making it much harder to have children. Taken together, the physiological problems are often enough to cause severe relationship problems.

The second most important area is the budget. If a couple lives together and shares money, discussing the spendings in necessary. However, it is normally done in a civilized manner and even the most heated discussions do not cause split ups. However, things get very different is one of spouses is stressed. Then, the budget becomes another battlefield and, as stress reduces our ability to think rationally, discussions with a stressed person is impossible. And when even the slightest mentioning of money is enough to cause an outburst of anger, even the most-loving spouses start to consider the divorce as an option.

If you find yourself stressed, remember that your relationship, no matter how good, is in grave danger. You have to get your stress under control again, or suffer dire consequences, including a possibility of separation or divorce. Learn about stress and start using the tips about lowering the stress level. Prepare a plan and start solving the problems that are the true reasons of your current situation one by one. And, even more importantly, let your loved one know about how you feel and what you do to make it better again.
