GET YOUR CAR’s BRAKES LOOKED AT
If your brakes are causing trouble for any of many of explanations could be reducing your gasoline mileage. If the brakes are creating a “drag” that the engine perpetually has to contend with then it can damage your safety and the gasoline mileage of your car.

OXYGEN SENSOR

HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR CAR’s WHEEL ALIGNMENT?

CATALYTIC CONVERTER CONVERTING?
A clogged or broken exhaust system will waste fuel. Also a catalytic converter that is not operating correctly and causing a blockage of air will be a trouble source for your fuel economy. These are things for professionals to diagnose. Note that there are parts that can collapse inside the catalytic converter that you won’t be able to access without proper equipment and know-how. Make sure that you go to someone that you trust so they don’t do unnecessary work.

GAS CAP
About 17% of fuel caps are damaged or missing which tallies up 147 million gallons of fuel per year that islost. Most of it from YOUR car, buddy! (kidding)

DON’T FREAK!
I want you to enjoy your driving and lower your fuel consumption not fret and freak over every little thing. So disregard these other tips about unjunking your trunk or whether or not you should have your a/c on, etc. Those really don’t add up to much difference.
But making sure that your car is in good overall condition as above may just make a difference and lower your fuel consumption
