Removing Errors From Your Computers Start Up
By: Thomas Haddelin

Startup errors can be tricky to fix. Often spyware or malware can contribute to the error.

Often removing the program can leave keys that fail to be removed. These cause errors on startup that can be a headache dealing with.

Removing the remaining files can often fix the problem. Sometimes it won't.

Most of the time deleting the remaining files corrects the error. Usually this doesn't fix the problem.

Often you'll have to use Regedit to correct the errors. To open Regedit simply click Start, click Run, type in Regedit and hit Enter on your keyboard.

Once Regedit has opened click Edit at the top of the window. On the popup click Find Next.

Once the dialog box opens, enter the name of the program to search for the remaining keys. Delete each one you find.

Continue thru the rest of the registry deleting the remaining keys. After deleting the last key make sure you reboot to make sure the error has been fixed.
