If you know if you are having a boy or a girl, you can be led in your decorating by this knowledge. Of course, if you don't, or even if you do, gender based nursery decorating is not required. You can choose literally any theme that you want in decorating your nursery. While some people want the nursery to fit in with the dcor of the rest of their home, others use the nursery as an interior design playground, where fanciful ideas out of place in the rest of the home can come alive.
