My affair with Tom is reaching a stagnant mode. We have been together for 7 months only, and romance is dead.

Now that we’ve got St. Valentine’s only a few short weeks away, I making plans to revive the relationship and make it work like it did in the beginning. I know that if I don’t do something, we will never get over the stagnation we feel with each other notwithstanding the emotion and admiration we feel for us still.

So, I began by working on a plan on a piece of paper for Valentine’s Day.

I am taking full advantage of my days at work by surfing the net for inspiration and I have discovered what I want.

Firstly, I decided wanted to give Lawrence with a special gift – lingerie. I have little time, between office duties and house work to hit the town shops, even on weekends. So, I did a search on the web for a few online stores which sold lingerie. I was not expecting much but the Top Secret Lingerie Shop has what I’m wanting. This shop features a sexy line of corsets, basques, bras, panties, stockings, baby dolls, sexy play wear, seductive nightwear and bridal wear. And I have saved me a huge amount of time. I selected 2 pieces of sexy lingerie and placed the order. Delivery was surprisingly swift, and I am overjoyed with my selections.

Now, on to phase 2 of the plan. We moved in together a few months ago and since our apartment is quite small, we both decided to throw away junk we both accumulated from before. As a result, we don’t yet have a stereo. We don’t even have any CD’s. But how else can I set the tone for the evening without some breathless, jazzy sound strumming behind.

Again, I went to the online shops and pulled my credit card out. After a few days looking over different costs between various stereos available, I set my sight on a JVC stereo and confirmed the order. Friendly feedback was very welcome and the order has already arrived too. I have it hiding in the cupboard.

Part 2 of step 2 is the music. There are tons of sites offering music downloads. Beats going downtown to a megastore where I have to buy a whole CD. In the Music Blog, I checked out the music reviews of the best music available. I found Ares, opened an account and have been delighting my hours away downloading some classic songs almost on a daily basis. Its a new hobby. I’m finding music I had not listened to since my youth and I am loving it.

Right, now the stage is almost set. On Valentine’s Day, I will visit the local store to buy a bottle of Port wine. I’ll return home, have a warm bath and put on my new lingerie. All will be ready when William arrives home. William beg me for more. At least, that is how the idea goes in my imagination.

The plan has to work. If our relationship doesn’t get a revamp, we won’t make it. I can’t let that happen. Besides, no matter how long you live with someone, you have to keep the flame burning. And that means, we have to work on it every single day.
