The word GURU in Sanskrit means:

The syllable GU means shadows
The syllable RU, he who disperses them,
Because of the power to disperse darkness
the GURU is thus named.

The character Guru is not just a character but is a role model to the present youth and those who had ideas of doing big and independent ,but would have ended up in the other side of the bank due do some kind of fear.

I can not hear the word "NO" the dialogue is a backbone for young dreams who have dreams to do big ,if u can dream it you can do it and if you want to do it do it big says Guru.

Guru pumps up all the youth who dare to dream and achieve it.
The role inspires you to believe in your dreams no matter what happens you can do it, having a good moral of respecting your rivals and not to lose heart in your own ideology.

To achieve is not great but how it is, Guru as a young lad son of a math teacher though not good at studies was bright, marks must not be the major criteria which is in our society by which the potential for creative thinking and the ability to think out of the box is ruled out in achieving the same.
Thus Guru leaves a huge impact on the society and giving a great message U CAN DO IT.
