Creating your own picture is one of the most rewarding and relaxing of pastimes. Right from our early days at school, we are taught to use our imagination as a development process: painting is seen as a very important part of the curriculum. It can give you a great deal of enjoyment and topics can be made very relevant to the subject that is pertinent to you at the time. If it’s someone’s birthday at work, for example, you could pick a theme and put up a surprise poster before they come. There are so many great uses of making your own pictures and it is a real fun way of passing a nice evening and leaving it overnight to dry and be admired the morning after.
