Sit your agent down and ask that they tell you about all discounts that your insurance provider gives and how to qualify. There are many discounts that insurers don't usually advertise.

6. You can get lower quotes on home insurance now by visiting at least five quotes sites. Each site will take you about 5 minutes or less to request quotes. (Some people fill in details that are not quite true about themselves. That is NOT smart as the quotes you'll get this way will NOT be of any use to you). You'll simply choose lowest home insurance quote for you from the list of quotes obtained. That's all there is to it. But you could realize savings hundreds of dollars.
