America Sells Out – Even It’s Roads
By: GARKO

"Everything The Bush administration is doing is designed to drive things to privatization," Rep. Peter DeFazio, Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure highways and transit subcommittee told the Washington Post. He was speaking about the Bush administration and its appointees at the Department of Transportation, who the Post says, are working on a clear agenda to transform the national transportation infrastructure towards privatization and therefore facilitate the creation of many more pay per use toll roads.
Through a system of taxes, incentives, legislation and earmarks, the transformation of our roads and highways to corporately owned privitaization is drawing rapidly nearer. This will translate to an increase in both toll roads and congestion

The Washington Post then argues in favor of this trend saying that while this policy has faced serious criticism, a large investment in the road infrastructure is needed and America’s drivers will be footing the bill, this will be through tolls and taxes. But, as we see the price at the pump continues to rise, it's looking more and more unlikely that the focus will come via taxes

In my observation of the loud and angry responses of people in Texas, it seemed that the privatized nature of the Trans Texas Corridor. Bad enough to force drivers to pay new tolls, that ranchers would be losing their property due to eminent domain, but for benefit of a foreign corporation from Spain or someplace? . Little wonder that Willie Nelson said recently that if it was up to him he would prefer to have an electric chair named after him than a portion of the Trans Texas Corridor! "We have so little influence over the actions that our own government takes," a woman in Texas was quoted as saying. "America is really the only remaining beacon of liberty in the world--the land of the free and home of the brave--and we are just letting it be taken away from us"
Personally I have been out in the streets for some cause or another on a weekly basis. If I am not doing a ten mile walk and helping with the Boston Tea Party reenactment for Ron Paul’s candidacy, last December, then I am laying it on the line on Hollywood Boulevard or someplace waking up Americans to the fundamental inconsistencies in the official narrative conspiracy theory in explanation of the events of 911 and the need for a genuine, unobstructed, independent investigation (and I feel safe in saying that because per CBS News, at least two thirds of Americans have questions about what they have been told by the government and media). If I am not out there protesting the Real ID national biometric identification card and all that it signifies for the advent of Big Brother in America then I am distributing flyers about some local seminar about some aspect of the truth and freedom movement. This much I know if we lose our liberties then it won’t be because I didn’t try to preserve them.
But by saying what I do that doesn’t mean that I expect you to do the same. There are much simpler steps that you can take which will be to your benefit while helping on the larger picture as well.
One that comes immediately to mind is that you should become a paying member of Water4Gas.
An effective solution exists that Americans can do on their own to help with reducing of gasoline consumption without needing to wait for Big Brother to help them out
WATER4GAS is offering information at a low price which individuals can use at home to create a small device which infuses hydrogen into the gasoline/air mixture that their car runs on.
What this does is make smaller particles out of the ones that the system uses as fuel. So the engine is able to use considerably more of it.
With WATER4GAS you can minimumly expect to increase your fuel economy by thirty to fifty percent or significantly more. Those molecules "musta" been pretty "blankin'" big in some systems before. But with W4G they are made consumable so you can increase your fuel economy.
It also helps reduce emissions significantly.
This information has been purchased by over 9000 car owners already and the percentage of happy customers is about 99%! So how about you?
