5 Best Deal of the Day Sites
By: netpicks

Finding the best deal of the day sites may seem like a daunting tasks. Hundreds, if not thousands, of websites claim to offer fantastic deals, but in reality fail to deliver. Most offer deals that are far more than what you would pay in the stores, especially if you factor in shipping costs. To save you the time and effort of searching through all those poor websites, we’ve compiled a list of the 5 best deal of the day sites.

1. Yugster (www.yugster.com). Yugster is far and away the best deal of the day site we’ve come across in a long time. Yugster offers much more than just a deal of the day. With a free registration, you can earn points by responding to emails, registering friends, you’ll also earn points on every purchase you make. Points can be redeemed for discounts or even free stuff from the company. On Fridays their deal of the day is always $5, and shipping is very inexpensive.

2. Woot! (www.woot.com) is a good choice to find a deal of the day in electronics. The site lists their deal of the day on the main page, with a short and humorous description below. This is one of the best sites, but it does have its downside. The descriptions can be a bit tedious, especially if you find the writing less funny than some, and they use small type to show their shipping costs. Shipping is sometimes a little high too, close to half the product’s price.

3. Secret Amazon Online Deals (www.secretonlinedeals.com) offers more than just one deal of the day; they have several. Not happy with the first one listed? Scroll down the list, and find one you love. This site offers hundreds of deals listed on Amazon, and if you sign up for their free newsletter, you’ll be notified of deals before the rest of the buying public. Where else can you find a designer handbag for less than $60, and the best slow cooker on the market?

4. Steep and Cheap (www.steepandcheap.com) is the best place to find a outdoor equipment deal of the day. They offer reduced prices of up to 70% off retail, and give full pictures and descriptions. For shoppers who aren’t happy with the current deal of the day, they also include 2-3 additional deals on the side of the screen.

5. Chick-Chock (www.chickchock.com) is an excellent deal of the day site with low prices, and low shipping costs. Once you register with the site, you can post in their forum, and ask questions about the deal of the day. They also include a running countdown of the time remaining on the deal, and the amount of products left in stock. Chick-Chock even has an option for shoppers without a credit card; they accept paypal as a form of payment on the site. The only complaint with this one is the lack of details on some of the products; the pictures are good, but they need more information.

Those are the 5 best deal of the day sites we’ve found online.
